    Hi all,
    Just another quick question -
I've had a 2nd letter through from DCBL saying "In the event that a claim is issued against you, further fees will be incurred and these will be added to the balance you owe our client."
Does anyone have a ballpark figure of what these additional fees would be?
I'm trying to keep money aside in case it goes to court and I lose. I know this is unlikely to happen but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks for all your help so far, it is very appreciated.

If it went all the way to a hearing in court,  plus if you lost, for one pcn a typical loss in court is about £212 !

It would increase by around £100 per pcn if there were more,  plus the other figures would increase according to the limits allowed for small claims by the justice system

So maybe £212 for a single pcn,  zero if you win or the claim is discontinued like a lot of well defended cases here

Even if a court CLAIM is issued,  there are a lot of stages before any possible hearing,  the hearing is not inevitable like many people seem to believe,  it's not a foregone conclusion

I've had a response from the landowner to say they can't rescind the PCN because it has now gone to DCBL - does anyone know if this is correct? Surely it is still within their control?

Rspond back to them  thanking them for taking time to reply and telling them that you are confused by their response, as they should instruct their agents to put a stop to this nonsense from their un regulated parking company agents at any point regardless of any other organisation such as DCB, and you do not appreciate having your time wasted as a direct result fo them allowing an un regulated parking company to operate on their land, and that so far you have spent X hours of your time which you value at £16/hour or part thereof

Thank you so much, I just want to make sure I'm prepared for the worst possible outcome I suppose, then I feel more in control of everything else

The landowners were incredibly unhelpful and avoidant in all communications I've had with them and several other people have said the same thing about them so I didn't keep pushing

Keep pushing on them, make this issue a nuisance / headache for them

Hi everyone, thanks for advice so far. I've received a bunch of letters from DCBL stating they are referring me to the parking management company, advising them to proceed with legal enforcement etc, etc.
Does anyone know what the time-frame is between the parking management company raising the PCN to starting legal proceedings? Like, is there a point in which I can relax and assume they aren't going to proceed?

6 years. You can Google it: limitation period.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
