So I was looking for thermal blackout curtains made from velvet and I came across these

At first glance I thought "anti radiation" is just a fancy way for them to say that they block heat coming in, in the summer perhaps.
Nope they're actively marketing them to conspiracy theorists. At first glance, I thought hmm that's some clever marketing given surely blackout curtains would do the same job given they're blocking the sun's rays. But I guess there's a grift for everything

You've gotta hand it to them for trying, I'm sure some poor sucker will fall for it.Of course, those same people will then complain they get no signal on their phone as they supposedly block signals from phone masts. Oh, and they block external wi-fi signals - which is great, but what about the signal coming from your own router ?Thanks for posting, that did make me chuckle3

Make sure you get some of these too.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".4 -
That's actually bonkers. The guff people wilfully lap up. I can't help but imagine a happy punter taking a mobile call within his blackened room - "Yeh I've put these anti radiation blinds up, they work perfectly"
Anti radiation? I wonder how they fare against gamma and x-rays.1 -

Though I imagine that the website that sells them hopefully aren't buying into the anti EMF styrrulik and their customers
Kinda like those people who sell 5G Faraday cages, but don't necessarily subscribe to the conspiracy theories themselves. It's not a bad grift. I was just surprised especially as I went in thinking "Oh they're selling blackout / thermal curtains but with fancier marketing"0 -

But they may emit more radiation while doing so. They adjust their transmit power according to the signal strength. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
