What boiler to get with air vent heating

I recently moved into a flat over two floors that uses air vent heating. It's in good condition and I tend to keep it for the time being. The boiler exclusively used to heat water however is getting very old and I would like to relocate it to upstairs and probably replace it. My question is, what would be the best choice of boiler/heating tank considering my current requirements but also bearing in mind that the air vent heater will not last forever although in good condition? Many thanks

An air-to-air heat pump may well be an ideal replacement, although DHW may need a second unit to maximise efficiency. In the current climate with a drive to net zero, I wouldn't be recommending a gas/oil replacement.

One thing you need to take a close look at is asbestos - A lot of these old systems have copious quantities of asbestos insulation which will be expensive to remove & dispose of safely.
