Am I entitled to a full refund?

  • Hey all,

After reading all the messages, I decided to just accept the offer of £400 for the laptop, does frustrate me that I was just weeks away from a full refund instead, despite everything. £200 loss is a big hit.  They had acknowledged that I should’ve been referred to Acer at the first point of call because I was in warranty, where I would’ve got a diagnostic to entitle to me to the full refund there and then. And whilst they understand I was let down in that initial advice which delayed things they are sticking by their offer.

I wouldn’t be able to replace the laptop of that spec (which was on offer at the time) for the refund offered, but it’s better than having a laptop sat there which can’t be used!
