I have two profiles on my phone. One with minimal apps on which I log onto when out and about.
Next time I get a new phone this one will stay at home with all the appsI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
I only have a couple of banking apps on my phone as am a bit old skool and set in my ways! It's both a blessing and a curse lol.
In some ways because it's a bit of a hassle to login to each of my accounts I don't tend to obsess over cash accounts aside from check-in's every now and then. However regarding investments (ISA/SIPP/Wrk pension) I check them far too often or think I need to reduce the no.of times I visit Google finance! I've learned over time not too tinker based on being reactionary...the COVID-induced drop in Equities helped me to build up some discipline though aware there have been much worse/more significant drops during other events. I was oblivious/ignorant of investments during the GFC so I didn't feel anything...maybe a good thing! I am now much more aware and it does contribute to some stress (albeit not with longer term investments such as SIPP/Pension) but am learning to just go with the flow and try to keep everything as simple as possible which in turns helps to reduce the chance I will tinker too much.

I have an app for my bank on my phone and have it set up for contactless payment, but that's it. I would never put apps connected with my investing and pensions on my phone. I rarely check my pensions etc.And so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.1

Only the Curve app is on my phone, the rest are on my iPad which doesn’t go out very often. When the iPad does go out, it’s for a specific purpose and getting there by car.
If Chase allowed the app to run on two devices simultaneously I would probably put that one on my phone now that there’s no reason to use them for savings, as it is my spending account.1 -
Just as a related comment for financial apps I do have on the phone, I am starting to make use of the Private Space available in Android 15. It helps make them slightly more secure (nothing is perfect) and, out of sight is out of mind 😁Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

If my investments are on the up, I tend to check frequently, when they take a nose dive, I put the phone in a draw for a week and do my breathing exercises.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.2
