Octopus Go (not Intelligent)
Options
As far as I can see Octopus Go just uses fixed times of day to switch rates. Does anyone know if it records usage in two registers, like E7?
I can't do anything until our meter's fixed, which I hope will be tomorrow. I'm wondering if I should play safe with a tariff that won't completely fail if the smart meter comms play up again. If they fix it tomorrow that's nearly four months, a long time to have everything billed at a peak rate.

Cheers. So paranoia suggests maybe I should go onto E7 initially once the meter's fixed, then change from E7 to Go. Hopefully that would mean if comms fail again I can at least revert to E7. I'm assuming that E7 can be billed from manual meter readings.0

Just noticed that the new meter is recording two registers, current import readings ..
A+ Value 00098
Rate 1 00089
Rate 2 00009
I don't know when it started doing so. Or which is which, but a look tomorrow will tell me.1 -
AFAIK, Octopus have been standardising on using 2 registers for Octopus Go recently.0
