Wasn’t sure how to word the title

In the disability law is there a different between a medical disability and a non medical like learning disabilities.

And how the way work can  make or not make accommodations for these two different areas of disabilities?

    Thank you
The law relating to employment is not based on the type of disability or it's source, it only cares about capability/capacity.
Some medical conditions are automatically a disability for employment law purposes even if they are (currently) having no affect on the employee's ability to work normally. For example any diagnosis of cancer.

However, it is something of a moot point as the employer only has to consider reasonable adjustments if they are both requested and needed.

I am not sure I entirely understand the OP's question but, yes, I think there are different types of disability though in all cases the employment requirement is for the consideration of "reasonable adjustments".  That can mean different adjustments in response to different disabilities that may present.

     Who told you that?
Work. It really upset me and confused me. So I’m trying to work what it means. Spoke to friends and they didn’t know. And said speak to the union. As it’s the weekend I’m been in a real panic. As I confused where I stand and my rights
What led to this discussion with your employer?
    What are you scared of?
Have they said they will let you go?
It was in a meeting out of the blue . They are changing how things are done in role
How are they changing it and how will it affect your ability to carry it out?

What exactly are you scared of?

There are so many variations on this theme, but it depends on the job requirements and the disability, specifically if reasonable adjustments can be made to enable the employee to meet the needs of the job.
Sometimes that just isn't possible, but that doesn't mean that the employee has been discriminated against.  For example, someone registered as legally blind couldn't be employed as a driver.

Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
