    @grateful4

    As an optional extra (and by no means something that you should rely on as the AOS/WS etc are way more important to get right), you might want to consider writing to DCB Legal and asking them to drop hands based on this thread .

    Read this about a potential way to get DCB Legal to drop hands on this, I now know of a few cases where this has worked, especially as it has said, it very rare to see the inside of a court room with DCB Legal

    Given the date of your PCN was in July 24, they did not have a lawful basis that allowed them to share your p[personal details as they didn't fulfil the requirements laid out for privacy policies and personal data sharing. Note, they have now updated their 'who we share data with' to include "DCBL", but this itself was only done end of Jan 25, nor is it sufficient to allow them to share you details.

    DCB Legal are seemingly very wary that as a 'legal firm' they have received data unlawfully. Could help....if you have the time. Good luck...

    Dear Forumites,

    I wanted to give you an update on my case and its successful outcome.

    A couple of month after the mediation call, I received
    - an offer from the legal company 'our Client would be agreeable'
    - a couple of notices (allocations to the small claims track, trial date) explaining among other things that the hearing take place remotely by video and that the claimant needed to pay a trial fee of GBP 27 before a specific date, failing that the claim will be struck out.
    - the day before this date, I was informed by the legal company that their client has instructed them to discontinue Court proceedings.

    So a heartfelt thank you to all contributors to to this forum, and especially the ones above that took time to look at my case and reply to the thread. I'm glad I found this forum and all its resources to overcome the jargon and fight this legal scam with confidence (which is such a waste of time, public money and sources of stress)

    But again many many thanks to all the contributors who spend their free time helping their neighbour against evil corporates.

    Great news!

    DCB Legal? If yes, we need to see the attachment: the NoD, please (not the email) or @Umkomaas can't count your success yet.
