Payoneer?

Decided to take up Google's compensation offer for their recent update and consequent battery failure for the Pixel 4A phone. You must create a Payoneer account. But I see there is an account inactivity fee of $29 if unused for 12 months.
So once they've sent the money through to my bank I will cancel the account, I don't know what else I could use it for. Unless anyone knows of any other use for Payoneer... maybe as a travel card with cash loaded on it? I can't think of anything and I already have PayPal.
Anyone have any dealings with Payoneer?

Payoneer: This company offers a range of services, including:
- Cross-border payments in more than 150 local currencies
- Online payment processing for digital businesses
- Virtual bank accounts in local currencies
- Reloadable prepaid MasterCard debit cards
- Working capital solutions for businesses
If are not interested in any of these services you have no need for the account.0 -
I used Payoneer for a while (it is often used by international companies to pay on-line workers). Their fees for currency exchange are extortionate, as are their fees for transferring funds to your bank account.
Can't you get Google to send the money in another way?

Having said that, it still seems to me that posting copypasta isn't necessarily a bad thing but only if it's clearly identified as such (and relevant!).0 -
I thought it was relevant and helpful to the OP, which was way I posted it and your point noted.

Anyone have any dealings with Payoneer?I've also been forced to open a unwanted Payoneer account to receive my £40 from Google for my Pixel 4a compensation. Received the money into my bank account tonight and I intend to close it down shortly. Can't see any benefit to having it over any of the other accounts I already hold.It mostly seems to be a vehicle to receive add revenue from Google advertising, etc1
