Self Assessment Confusion - Says 'No Tax to Pay'

In the absence of any revelation on this, I think I'll just pay the amount due on my SA calculation next week (even though it says no tax is due) as this looks right to me.
Hopefully any overpayment can be corrected in the future.
I haven't really got the time to try and phone them, with all the reports of them not answering the phone either.

Have you found the page on SA which lets you see your payments over previous years? Not sure if that would help, but it might let you check that you payments were recorded properly.

Have you found links called "View account" and "Current position"?
Or when looking at the page for your 2023-24 return a section called "Tax year overview0 -

It's a growing mystery0 -
If you can afford to make the payment without hardship, and it helps you sleep at night, you could go ahead and make the payment. The interest offered by HMRC on overpayments is pretty reasonable, and you are going to have another payment to make in July anyway. If you eventually turn out not to owe the money, you can ask for a refund any time, or just let it sit there and accrue interest.0

If it simply sits an unnecessary credit in your Self Assessment account no interest would be paid.
So if it turns out the op pays more than is needed they are probably better getting a refund and sticking it in an interest paying account.0
