for some reason (latest update??) I have started to get FB pop ups appearing on my pc. So, for instance, I'm looking at MSE and suddenly there's a pop up in the corner of the screen to show that a message has been received from someone or someone has posted on a post I have looked at. Now I don't want or need this but can't find a way to get rid. I'm assuming it's something in the FB notifications but can't see what. Any clues???

You could try this. The second option will give you four ways of doing it.
(a) https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=+how+to+remove+popups+in+facebook
(b) Type "how to remove popups in facebook" , into

Adjust Notification Settings in Facebook
- Log in to Facebook: Open Facebook in your browser.
- Go to Settings: Click your profile picture in the top-right corner → Select Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Notification Settings: On the left side (or scroll on mobile), go to Notifications.
- Turn Off Browser Notifications: Scroll down to Where You Receive Notifications → Browser → Toggle it off if it's on.

@Vitor
thankyouthankyouthankyou!
No idea why this started up recently. Suspect something on either FB or the pc had updated itself. Hopefully I'll remember just in case it starts again!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. Instead of trying to remember it, write it down on Notepad, Label it Facebook Ads and store it in documents folder on your PC.1
