Waste carrier costs

How much do licensed waste carriers normally charge?
I've got a lot of stuff that I can't get to the tip and I've been quoted £250 a load. They reckon there's at least three loads 🤔

A tipper load of mixed waste has a minimum charge of £145 + vat at my local licensed facility.
If there's anything heavy on board, the cost will soon increase towards £200 + vat (or more)

From memory, I pay £45 + vat for a tipper load of hardcore and £110 + vat for timber.

    I'm paying £265 + vat for 8yd skips.

Add in the labour costs of loading your waste, fuel/van/insurance and the £250 quoted seems cheap to me.

I'm sure it'll cost less in some parts of the country, but even so, it does sound cheap.

Make sure you check their licence and insist on a waste transfer note, just to cover yourself if the rubbish were to end up somewhere other than a licenced facility.

  • It's all in my garden, the waste guys are lifting it. Not sure of the load sizes 🫤

A skip someone has to load it

A grab lorry will load itself if it can get to the waste

The last job I did, my sons drive was £180 cash for the grab lorry and £190 for a skip

    All times 3
