Reversing 10% Transfer Tax Allowance to Spouse

I cannot find the appropriate HMRC form to reverse the 10% transfer of my wife’s tax allowance now that her state pension increase has altered her forthcoming tax code.

The only “relevant” forms seemingly available on the gov.uk website are either for cancelling MA in total or the similar one to her application for her original transfer to me.

Could anyone advise me where I might access the appropriate form please?

Can you not still use her transfer.
If it's her only income looking at a bill of £100 where's its saving you £250
The person that made the claim has to cancel it
The form that you refer to is most likely the form that you require as you couldn't cancell all your personal allowance.
There is a telephone number on the gov website 0300 200 3300

I don't there is any such form.

What exactly is it you want to do?  If it's just that you don't want it to apply from 6 April 2025 then what is wrong with the guidance here?

Don't forget that it is being liable to higher rate tax that makes either of you ineligible.  If she is now going to have a tax bill of say £120 with Marriage Allowance still in place you would still be better off as a couple providing it saves you at least £121.

By 'reversing the transfer' do you mean cancelling her allowance to you and you then giving some of your allowance to her ? If so, as each step is initiated by a different individual I imagine it would need to be done in two stages, not as a single transaction.

The only way to ‘reverse’ the transfer is for your wife to cancel it.

The transfer  will continue until the end of the current year, 5 April.

So make sure it is cancelled before that date.

You cannot cancel part of it, it is an all or nothing transfer of 10% for the whole year.
