CGT on shares.

So I'm having a little trouble working out profits on shares I've sold from 2 companies.
The original purchase date was back in the 90s for one. Over the years the shares have changed so the original 200 shares turned into 126. I think they were reissued for whatever reason
But how do I work out what price I got them for? Do I work out the cost per share in the 90s and go by that figure?
It's all very confusing, and now I'm reading about a section 104 holding and I'm even more confused

What are the shares you hold ?0

If you have the price you originally purchased them at, you need to adjust that by 200/126 to recalibrate it to a figure comparable with what you sell them for.0
