HELP!  I have been backwards and forwards with Octopus energy for nearly 7 months for a problem I didn't know existed until I requested a smart meter.  We moved into a property that had two meters one for a flat and one of the main house.  It was put back into one dwelling and a disconnection was undertaken for the 'flat's meter' by National Grid and then Octopus energy back in November 2023.  It has become apparent that the disconnected meter is still on my account which means it throws up all sorts of issues although it does not show on any searches.  Octopus energy's response to my request to remove it is "Annoyingly, there's a discrepancy on what the Industry believes the status of the old meterpoint is. They actually have our updated status of 'disconnected', but also believe it to be energised, which is odd."  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can move this forward please, I'm currently trying Octopus and also National Grid who cover our area without any joy.  Much appreaciated
