Private PCN on public road

At the end of October I received this PCN from SIP whilst I was parked on what I believe to be a public road with no double yellow lines or parking bays.
I received a final warning letter last week with a £125 fine warning me that I risk being taken to court by not paying it. I appealed it but as it’s an independent service they did not approve it. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times since and cannot reach them.
What do I do as I don’t want to risk a CCJ or bailiffs coming? But I also feel this is an illegal parking ticket I’ve been awarded.
This is Great St in Central Manchester

I have no idea why you think this is a "fine" I am absolutely sure that nowhere on any sign (even though they are in short supply) or letter or PCN is the word "fine" mentioned is it?The notice to driver on your windscreen says Parking CHARGE Notice it might as well say Parking Invoice because that's all it is.I doubt it is an "illegal parking ticket"I doubt this is a "public road" if it is yes the private parking company would be in trouble, I suspect it belongs to Piccadilly Trading estate. You cannot just get a "CCJ" unless you go to court, lose, and then don't pay up in a prescribed time. You won't get Bailiffs coming round. You should never phone a PPC or a debt collector they will bully you and get you on their gullible list. Now, looking at facts GSV shows this site to be totally lacking in any credible signage at all of course any unsuspecting driver would assume they could park there. If they should be stupid enough to try a small claim for this I would expect the judge to send them away with a spanking.Read the newbies thread on here the whole sorry scam and how to deal with it is exposed.Where are the entrance signs?Where are the on site signs stating the terms of the contract they will allege you entered in to?

I agree, its likely to be on the Piccadilly Trading Estate, not a council road
Ask the council where the demarcation boundary is2 -
Thank you for the detailed response, it’s my bad for not doing my due diligence being new to the thread.fisherjim said:I have no idea why you think this is a "fine" I am absolutely sure that nowhere on any sign (even though they are in short supply) or letter or PCN is the word "fine" mentioned is it?The notice to driver on your windscreen says Parking CHARGE Notice it might as well say Parking Invoice because that's all it is.I doubt it is an "illegal parking ticket"I doubt this is a "public road" if it is yes the private parking company would be in trouble, I suspect it belongs to Piccadilly Trading estate.
Yes it’s a PCN not a fine. As you say there is no contract I’ve entered into my parking there so it wouldn’t hold up in a small claims court.
I’m young and haven’t dealt with this before, I was advised by family that if I don’t pay it could result in a CCJ or bailiffs at my door. I appreciate the response.1 -
The signs are forbidding and offer nothing of value. Without an offer, there can be no consideration, and therefore no acceptance, and therefore no contract can be formed.
There are no DYLs, and the signs do not define the site boundary. The signage is therefore inadequate because it is impossible for a motorist to know if they have or have not entered private land.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I appreciate the response. It is worth having a discusion with "family" to ask why they think this might be the case. With a bit of research you can help them understand what actually happens and how they are wrong.
