Yes you would receive a PCN for 8 minutes.KeithP said:Why won't you answer the question?
My point is that the ANPR machine shows entry and exit times in milliseconds. Yet the operator quotes an overstay of 20 minutes, which it wasn't, according to the BPA code or practice.
I am fully expecting to have to fork out £60 to £100.
Which parking firm is involved?
Which parking firm = First Parking Ltf0 -
Totally agree. But I will get taken to court. I am not brave enough to ignore them.Car1980 said:
Why would you do that? It's just an invoice pleading for free money.

Nobody gets taken to court for a single ticket.
You might get a claim and have to do some paperwork, but you won't be going anywhere near a court.
I've got 4 PCNs in the drawer from over the years and about 50 sheets of A4 debt collector drivel

Statutory regulation is needed to stop this industry's out of control behaviour. A group of MPs raised it in a letter to HCLG Minister and one MP recently told Parliament "Rip-off parking 'fines' need to go".Get your own MP to ask MHCLG when Govt Parking Code of Practice will be implemented. Join the call by signing/share this petition demanding the re-launch of a Govt-backed CoP. 🙏We must keep pressure on new Govt, previous one failed to ensure motorists were protected and treated fairly from an industry who for years have shown they either lack the capabilities to achieve this or have no desire to.2
