Energy club and Home energy

Hi did a comparison from British Gas and was told home energy would save us money. Within a couple of weeks said the prices would go up and now in first month saying we owe them £110 and bill gone from £1400 to £2200 advice pls.

    Some questions:

    What tariff are you on with Home Energy and how does that compare with your previous BG one?

    Are you gas & electric or just electric?

    What is your annual usage in kwh per fuel?

    I confess to not having heard of Home Energy.

    When did you change suppliers?   Increase in DD may in part be due to a tariff change.

    £1400 is below average for a 3 bed semi gas heated; £2200 is above but may include an element of catch up.
