Using Citizen advice to complete WCA form, experiences?

Hello,
I have to complete a work capabilities form and have booked an appointment with my local CA branch.
I've previously not used a professional to compete the form. This time I would like to.
I underrstand that peoples local branches experiences will be different.
I'm just wanting to get peoples thoughts on their experiences with CA?
Thanks

I used to volunteer at my local CAB. I filled in many of these. It's beneficial to you because they know the criteria, understand the disability from DWP guidelines and will ask questions about how it affects you and fill it in much better than most applicants can.

My own personal experience with Citizens Advice isn't great. For me they give very little information on any form that they've filled in  and asked me very few questions. I fill them out myself now.

You should get someone who is used to filling the forms and knows what they are looking for.

I used to work alongside soomeone who did this and she was excellent.

I used to work for CAB and have worked with some excellent staff and some dire ones who were totally incompetent and never pulled up on it. Check the experience of whoever is helping you and make sure you understand the criteria yourself.

How do I check the persons experience? Without coming across as I'd be undermining them.
Would I ask for their experiences in completing the WCA forks? Thanks

Are they coming to your home? If not I would suggest you take lots of paperwork and medical history with you and get a replica of the submitted form. Also if you have a condition that is difficult to discuss you must make them aware and not hide or be embarrassed to say how it affects you even if they have no experience or knowledge of it.
