Debt collecting notice

Debt Recovery Plus notice received for "parking notice" this is the first of anything received, researched and company is Smart Parking, yes I was where they say, but the machine was broken, I tried Ringo which would not accept the location number, I called the phone number listed several times which cut off after 3/4 minutes, we checked the 3 cars parked and none had a ticket, to be honest I have been waiting, but this is the only letter received, can I ask for advice please.  Car park Clarkston, Glasgow 11/11/24. Thanks

Ignore them both, especially in Scotland

Please study the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum,  at your leisure,  whilst you Ignore,  Ignore   Ignore

    Rest easy, nothing will happen

Lastly,  check that your V5c and driving licence are up to date with the DVLA

Smart Parking = always ignore in the UK.

Debt Recovery Plus = always ignore in the UK.

Scotland = ignore ALL private parking charges.

The law will change in a year (keeper liability and proper rules and appeals) but not yet and never for this invoice because laws don't change retrospectively.

    IGNORE IT.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
