Rivercourt rd , W6 PCN

I received a PCN on the 13/1/25 for  taking the left turn into Rivercourt Road in Hammersmith. The contravention was 52M- failing to comply with a prohibition on certain types of Vehicle (m) motor vehicles.

I have been using this rd for over 25 years and it’s a turn off the Busy A4, a 40 miles an hour dual carriage way. Hammersmith & Fulham council decided to put a camera right on the turn without giving enough warning about the new rd layout.  there was no time/distance to read any new road signs placed right at the entrance to the road, plus all the usual heavy traffic on the A4 right behind me would have meant no safe option to change my decision.

Can you please help me how to challenge the PCN? Should I write and say I should have received a warning letter rather than a PCN ? Thank you

As the pcn is council and not a private parking company pcn, please go to the FTLA parking forum website and post your query in the council section there,  try to avoid signing up with Hotmail or Outlook email addresses
