Confirmation in Scotland

Hi again, Does this inventory look ok? My late stepdad didn't have a property when he died as he was in a care home. Prudential wont release his funds though until we get Grant of confirmation so that's everything listed he had when he died. Also do I need to put in a covering letter when I submit the paperwork to court. Thanks again for all your help

I am assuming that the estate items are numbered in the first column.
The inventory reflects assets at date of death. Presume the Santander accounts were closed after the date of death. If so, I would change the entries to remove the reference to closure dates.
If posting, you need to include the items as specified on the SCTS website. https://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/taking-action/dealing-with-a-deceaseds-estate-in-scotland/large-estates/
Include your contact phone number - likely to receive a call requesting payment by card. You will receive a grant of confirmation, identify if you wish a separate certificate for the Prudential assets.

Just want to say thank you so much buddy9 for your help with this and to everyone else on this forum for pointing me in the right direction. I handed all the documents into Aberdeen Sheriff court on Wednesday last week, they phoned me on Friday to take payment and I received the Confirmation certificate in the post today. Can't believe how quickly it came through. Total cost was £350 and I was quoted £2000 from a local solicitor, so although it was a fair bit of work it was well worth it!0
