Candy Pump dryer issue

Anyone know how to solve this issue? ?My pump dryer works perfectly once going, however, when I first turn it on it does not rotate but makes a noise like it's trying to start. I have turn it off , then manually  turn it once or twice , switch it back on and then it will work normally. It's been doing this for a couple of weeks now. There is nothing in the troubleshooting brochure. Any advice please?

Get the back and top off and see if there is any lint blocking the motor, drum and drive belt.

If the machine is a few years old and has never been cleaned be prepared for a shock about how much is in there.
  • It might be the motor brushes ,if capable unplug the machine and check the drum and drive belt.

I doubt a modern dryer has brushes. It's either a faulty motor, a faulty capacitor, a faulty control module or faulty wiring. Or something else.
