  • I have now resolved the situation with Octopus energy who have credited my account with the overcharged amount.  I was initially offered an amount somewhat less than the overcharge, however I submitted my calculations and this was quickly rectified.  I am now putting in a diary reminder to check when the clocks move to BST that heaters switch at the same time.

The switching times should remain on GMT during BST

Good to hear that it's been resolved, and quickly! As Swipe says, switching times usually remain on GMT (EV tariffs being a common exception to this rule).
