Small claims, notice of discontinuance

Hi, cant really find an appropriate section for this but it should be quite simple I hope. I did have a thread about this on ftla but I've not had any answers all weekend and I could do with knowing.
Basically a company took me to the small claims court and I defended the claim, filled in all the apropriate forms, did the mediation call and the next step was for the company to pay the hearing fee and for me to do the official defence.
A few days ago I got a letter of discontinuance (form N279) from the company's solicitors stating that they are discontinuing all of the claim. My question is, do I now need to do anything, I'm the only defendant and they are the only claimant, do I still need to submitt anything by the due date or is that it?
Thanks.

No you don't, but for a belts and braces approach I would contact the court in a couple of days and confirm that a notice of discontinuance has been filed.
The claim won't go anywhere unless the hearing fee is paid. Normally the court issues directions that the fee must be paid by a certain date otherwise the claim will be automatically struck out.1 -
I guess it's not only parking companies who fold just before court hearing stage.Jenni x1

Ok thanks, that what I thought, don't think they would issue a blag notice to trip me up, wouldn't they end up in prison.
