Thinking of changing to ocado.

I have for many years used sainsburys for my shopping mainly because my parents all ways did, for quality and value. and I think I just kind of followed suit.
Now that I live alone I have become more interested in the 'meals for one' section when doing my shopping. but with some of the major supermarkets choice in this field is limited.
I have noticed however the online supplier ocado has on their site several pages of meals for one.
Can you please tell do any of you use ocado?
what is the stock and availability like?
and how easy do you find their website to use? any advice appreciated.

Drivers are great, customer service is great

Doubt you will find an awful lot of difference in pricing from SainsburysI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. A neighbour started using delivery after his wife became housebound and went through most the locally available options and settled on Ocado as the most reliable and consistent service in the area in terms of having what you order in stock, no stupid substitutions, turning up when they say they will etc.
We've used a few services over the years but not enough to see material problems with the others. Technically their pricing is probably more towards the premium end but if your feeding 1 rather than 6 and not looking at the value end of the spectrum there probably isnt the vastest of differences and its more swings and roundabouts4 -
thanks for the replies. I placed an order with them last night, its coming tomorrow. thing that surprised me the most while doing the order was the huge selection they offer. far more than any of the others,4

I don’t think you’ll regret it. I too was a loyal Sainsbury’s shopper but the poor availability and substions sent was becoming frustrating. So I do the bulk of my shopping with Ocado now. Very rarely get a substitute and if somethings not right you can easily request a refund through the app without having to go to an outsourced contact centre.1

So I had my 1st delivery from them today. the driver was young lad, seemed helpful enough. they had everything I ordered. apparently if you return the bags next time you get 10p per bag back. so I'll keep them in the airing cupboard and send back next time, still navigating my way round their website. I think maybe the print is a bit small. but be ok once I'm used to it. so yes, all in all pretty good. acado is now my new food n booze supplier!.5

I'd love to change to Ocado, especially to be able to access M&S products. However they STILL don't deliver to my area of North Yorkshire, despite promising they're "coming soon" whenever I try my postcode (they've been saying that for about five years). Frustratingly they deliver just North of us, and just South of us. We are close to the A1 and regularly see their delivery vans going past, yet they don't deliver to my town!

Been using Ocado for around 4 years for my own shopping, never have any major issues, and always find the drivers friendly and helpful. A good range of stock, rarely anything not delivered or available!
Also shop at Sainsbury’s for the convenience of Scan and Go for a relative who I shop for. Not been impressed with them for a long time!
