Hey MSE'ers,
I decided to post this here to attract the responses of families but essentially I am enquiring about those with Smart Meters (SM).
I live in a 4 bed (extended) semi detached house.  Rads turned to snowflake in 2 downstairs rooms that aren't in use and I have Hive also. Essentially I am heating kitchen/diner/lounge/hall/landing/3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
We also have water and heating on for hour in the morning and heating no more than 17 in the evening for 4 hours.
Its a curious question but for those in a similar situation how much is your daily spend according to your SM.

Thos would be better asked on the Energy board, I suspect. Although there most folk will say "check that your IHD has the correct tariff info before believing the cost figures, pay attention instead to the kWh values".
Having said all that, ~10kWh a day of electricity and (depending on weather) between 40-80kWh of gas is where my household currently sits. That' would be ~£3 for electricity and £3-£5 for gas, roughly, if we were on a standard tariff.
And that's also ignoring the electricity used for EV charging.

My smart meter does not tell me that, but I know anyway, but my tariff is probably different from yours so it would be pointless, and I possibly could be using a different type of heating to you.

The above comment is very valid, so 2 ponts really.
    1) I would guess that the sort of posters you want to respond to this will think that the post is something technical about smart meters and will probably ignore it.
    2) Because tariffs for different posters can/will be different, you really need to be talking about the amount of energy being used in kWh, both separate;y for Gas and Electricity.

So IMHO I'd suggest a thread title along the lines of -
"Heating set to 17 deg. in a 4 bed semi. If you're similar, how much energy do you use."

I don't recall whether OPs can edit the title of their own opening post, if not, I'd start a new one with a revised title.
Also change the "spend" to Energy in kWh for Gas and Electric. You could also expand on whether it's Gas CH and whether you use an immersion at all for the water.
