Gumtree question

I've put something for sale on Gumtree for the first time and have a question.
If it doesn't sell and I want to reduce the price, is it better to just post another advert (presumably the most recent adverts get most attention) or if i just change the price on the existing advert I'm guessing it won't get any attention as it's a week old now.
If anyone could advise me I'd be really grateful.

I relisted for precisely the reason you give - to get the item back up to the top of the list albeit only for a few hours. Did the same when I decided I needed better/more photos of something.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards.
