ESA Migration to UC

If you can start your UC claim on or after 8th April, that would mean the TP erosion doesn't start for a year.

I don't know if people who verified years ago count but I'm sure someone on here recently stated they confirmed there ID online through the gateway or Gov verify I believe ceased mid 2024. I mean when you look at the requirements it's exactly the same as confirm online and still shows as verify online. But not many mention driving licenses or bank cards.KxMx said:Universal Credit no longer use Government Gateway.

Hi
Just curious how long after you apply for UC can you apply for the first advance? I applied a week ago and the option isn't available. Thanks! 0 -
Do you need to go to the job centre for an ID check? I did a week after applying and it was there i was offered the advance.skye_ said:Hi

No I don't think so. It said my ID had been verified and I've not been asked to gomarcia_ said:

I would still expect you to have to attend your first appointment. The advance payment option should appear after that I believe.marcia_ said:

Oh ok? Will I get a note in the journal to attend one? I'm disabled and actually having an operation next week. I made the application over from ESA 8 days ago and haven't heard anything about an appointmentpoppy12345 said:

Ok so this it I’ve solved lol, but I’m so dumb. Can someone please explain. I don’t work and have been awarded the limited capacity thing.. so the payments should be the same every month but I understand it’s paid monthly? Will it be the same date every month? What if there are 5 weeks in that month? Will it be a different figure? Thanks😭skye_ said:

Same date each month, same amount each month - just like if you were employed and paid a monthly salary, your wages wouldn't change whether it's a 28 day month or a 31 day month.1

Same date every month unless it falls on a weekend or bank holiday. Then it will be paid on the working day before.2
