I know every situation is different but your doing really well keep going.
I have being exactly where your sitting try and keep positive, keep with the plan. Lendable i started off just sending them a tenner here 15 quid there.
I then just used a Monzo pot and would save up cb/survey earnings/ebay vinted bits and pieces until i had 50-75 quid then i would fire it off to lendable.
What your sayings right it doesnt sadly drop the monthly payment, but it does make an impact too the interest.
Whats your lendable monthly repayment?

Do you think I should switch banks (for the bonus money)?
I've been with First Direct since 2015, have my mortgage with them, and currently an affordability complaint for 3 loans (all now settled). I used to dip into my overdraft by between £50-£100 each month, but I've not done that now for 5 months.
I'm considering the Santander switch, for the switching money, but not sure if that outweighs the credit report"damage" by severing a long financial relationship (considering that my aim is to get a lower rate loan to replace the Lendable one, in 6(ish) months time 🤔Debt as of Nov 25

Thank you, I realised I hadn't actually scanned Reddit for thoughts, and can see that a lot of people do exactly that. I have set up a Chase account, I'm going to get 3 direct debits transferred over to that, then I can do a switch.daisy_1571 said:Set up another account, couple of your direct debits and use that one to switchDebt as of Nov 25

Whats your lendable monthly repayment?
My monthly repayments are £279, I've just sold a couple of books on Vinted, and the eBay listings end tomorrow, so my plan is for any money I manage to bring in "extra" each month, from surveys/Vinted/eBay etc, I'm going to throw on to Lendable.Debt as of Nov 25

Re the switch have a look at Barclays depending on income Barclays have 2 offers on 400 quid if you qualify for Premier 75000 plus pa annual salary
or 200 quid for clients below that.
Re lendable i would stick with that plan sounds good.
Vinted
Surveys
Cashback
Ebay
We Buy any books
etc
I am getting my credit report head on here, explain to me your logic of how you think moving banks would damage your credit report0 -
Thanks, unfortunately, I'm a long way from those kind of annual earnings, but I'll be shooting for a £200 switch for sure.Scott_Weiland79 said:Re the switch have a look at Barclays depending on income Barclays have 2 offers on 400 quid if you qualify for Premier 75000 plus pa annual salary

Vinted has brought in £21.50 (only £10 in my balance so far, just need to wait for the parcels to arrive for the remaining funds) and eBay, as predicted, wasn't particularly fruitful, nonetheless, I've got an extra £10 that I didn't have before, and there are three items that have relisted.
I plan to wait until I have the full available balance of £31.50, then I'll withdraw the money from both platforms and it'll either go into my emergency fund, or I'll make a payment to the Lendable loan.
This weekend I've got a catch up with a friend, and otherwise it's fixing the aviary roof from the storm (which will take up a decent bit of the weekend) and I've got a meet up, on Sunday, with a family who may be adopting my disabled dog, subject to how everyone gets on, particularly her and the family's existing dog.
It's a very long story, but at the core of the issue is my health, and how much hands on support she needs, and I don't have anyone as "backup" if things got particularly bad and I ended up in hospital, for example. I'd have thought I'd have been drained dry of tears by now, but my emotions need to take a back seat and the priority is her welfare and wellbeing. The animals I care for are my family, it's going to be gut-wrenchingly painful if things do go well, which is a strange sort of contradiction.Debt as of Nov 25

It is gut-renching to let go of your pet. I had the same problem - a husky my roommate had brought home then never cared for. So I suddenly had a husky but I couldn't walk her and she had no play time with other dogs. After a couple of hard years, trying to decide what was best for her, my sister found someone who had just lost one of their huskies. We arranged for my dog to get to know his dogs over a couple of months. I could see how well she got along and how well she enjoyed going for walks, going to the dog park, playing with other huskies. All things I couldn't do for her. It was great sadness that I let her go, but I knew it would be much better for her. Her new person is able to send me pictures occasionally and I can see she is happy now. But I still have moments that tear at my heart when I think of her. I wish you all the best and sending (((hugs))).1
