Sister buying buy now pay later goods under my name

I have had an account with an online shopping site for years but I haven't bought anything for ages.
I now want to apply for a DRO and I have just found out that my sister has been buying goods on the account under my name but having them delivered to her house. She changed the email address so that she got the notifications and changed the password on the account. The good news is that she has always paid off the account when needed, but at the moment there is £3200 outstanding to be paid at various points over they next year.
I have no doubt that my sister will pay these off when they become due.
So....
Is this a fraudulent debt that is not admissable within the DRO?
Can I include it in the DRO, the account is in my name. If I do, then the debts will get written off and my sister won't have to pay them. She therefore gets the goods for free.
Or do I ask to have this account excluded from the DRO?
I don't know how to proceed.

It's a debt in your name. It has to go in.

And therefore, after a year the debt gets written off and she gets to keep £3200 worth of goods for free?

Either report the fraud and get a crime number from the police or demand she immediately pays the debt. You have to ignore the fact that it’s your sister that has carried on deceiving you resulting in a major impact on your financial situation and deal with her as you would anyone unknown to you.

Just include the debt in your DRO, its the easiest solution all round, she shouldn`t have done it, but such is life.

So she gets a few pairs of jeans and some tank tops for nothing, hardly the crime of the century.

Ok.   But it's more than that.  It's £3200 worth of tech.  She has been a good payer and has always paid on time.  She has messaged me to say that if the account is frozen in the DRO then she can't pay it off and then the interest gets added at ridulous rates.  If I get a job or whatever duringv the year of the DRO then the debts have to be paid and the interest is punishing.
Is the possible fraud likely to be discovered if I say nothing and just include the debts in the DRO?

And, second question, what happens if she tries to pay the debt while the DRO is in force?

Are you sure  a DRO is the right way to go?  You need permission from the official receiver and there are charges for administering them.  Have you taken advice as to the best way to deal with your debt?  How much is your  debt (apart from the catalogue) and how much is your income?

She will not be able to pay the debt as it will be in your name and included under the DRO if it is approved.  If you don't tell anyone then no one should find out but obviously the account will be closed and the debt frozen.

You need to decide if a DRO is for you or not, in order for it to complete successfully, you need 12 months of financial stability, its not about any particular debt, you`re reading far too much into this particular issue, if your going to get a job half way through then you should not commit to a DRO, simple as that.

Only way it will be found out is if you report it, accounts are usually closed when you enter a DRO, so no one will be able to pay it, I understand this might be an issue for you, but we have seen most things on these boards, nothing surprises us any more, try not to overthink things too much, creditors just don`t care about stuff like this, there is zero interest from their point of view.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't been told about any administration charges.  What are they?

Apologies.  I have just checked and the £90 admin fee was removed last April. Who has told you the DRO is the way to go?
