Does promoting an item via eBay work?
Have you tried it?
I believe eBay take 10% of the final price if the item sells?
I'm a private seller - have an item that's been listed for months at £400 (RRP is £600) and not really selling as it's a bit specialised. Was considering promoting it.....

Seems to work up to a point. Obviously no guarantee anything will sell. Can’t claim to know much about it but you can specify lower %, presumably the higher the value the better the promotion.
Also you only pay if someone clicks through the ‘ad’ not if someone landed on your listing directly.0
