Kickstarter refund and vanquis card

in Credit cards
Morning all, not had this situation before so would appreciate your views.
Ages ago (August 2023) I backed a project on kickstarter for about £200 - this week my pledge was refunded.
Kickstarter say they can only send the refund to the original payment card... trouble is that I only had the vanquis card as a credit builder and I cancelled it in early 2024.
My actual bank account (Halifax) that I used for the credit card DD is the same, so does that mean vanquis will automatically route the cash to me eventually, or can I/should I contact them to ask them to do something (if so, what and how?)
Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can pay your credit card from any account you choose - just because your DD happened to come from Halifax doesn't mean there's any link as such between the two.ArbitraryRandom said:can I/should I contact them to ask them to do something (if so, what and how?)But this situation is far from unusual - they'll have a procedure in place to deal with it.

Thank you. Just for anyone else who happens to find this on google with a similar problem:
I gave them a quick call this morning and they found my closed account with no problem.
Apparently there's no automated process (as Clive advised) and as my account is closed I can't use the app anymore, so I need to call them again in a week or so (once the refund has been processed) to verify my ID and give them the account details to transfer the cash to.I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.4 -
Thanks for the update. That's good news - and it's always nice when folk report back the outcome. Quite apart from anything else, it is - as you say - useful for anyone else who finds themself in the same situation and who happens upon this thread.
