Morning allJust back from shopping. Thought I'd be out longer than this as when I got back into the car, it wouldn't start and kept asking me to put the key fob nearer the start button, to no avail! It eventually started and I got home! I presume the battery needs replacing but the batteries in the key fob seem to run out quite quickly or it was a duff one.Not much else going on today. I might carry on with transferring info into new address book as the old one is getting tatty with lots of crossings out etc. I know how to live!Have a good day all and hugs for the poodles x9

Morning all
Dull and overcast here but not raining which is good.
I went to pick Rob up yesterday to find his mum on the floor in the hallway 😳 she had fallen twice, she managed to get herself up once and then went over again and was stuck, Rob had been outside and was running up and down trying to get someone to help but as he can’t speak he couldn’t get anyone bless him for trying though, I managed to get her up and into a wheelchair (which was Robs from ages ago) and got her comfy and then phoned the SW, the day was then spent on the phone to various people and when I dropped Rob back a nurse arrived so I left them to it, they are trying to get her into hospital but she is very stubborn so we will see what today brings, I have told her to phone me if she wants me to collect Rob so I may have to dash over there at some point. The trouble is they have no support over the weekend so if she falls again she will be down there till Monday 😳 Rob can come here for the weekend if necessary.
Dinner tonight is yet to be decided maybe we will treat ourselves to a takeaway, I am still not sleeping well but had a better night last night. I have put some washing on this morning and it can go on the airer once finished.
I hope Nan is ok she has not been on for a while xx
Have good days all and take care xx11 -

I presume the battery needs replacing but the batteries in the key fob seem to run out quite quickly or it was a duff one.I had the same problem a couple of weeks back, yes, the problem seems to be the battery. In my car there is a sort of fob shaped indentation on the side of the driving wheel stalk, opposite the start button. This picture shows what it looks like though it's in a slightly different place to the one in my car (Peugeot 3008).My short term solution was to lock / unlock the car with the fob and then place it in the 'bed whilst starting the car in the usual way. For now I'm using the spare key until I take the old one for a new battery. I have new ones though not quite confident about changing it!!Been shopping, bought my friend a lovely candle from M&S. I'm not normally keen on them but she is so a candle is an easy win.@Ruby - what a shock for Rob and his mum. I hope that she sees sense and gets some medical help, or at least a fall fob.@Snoozer, I hope that all is well with Laura now.9

@Gers No mine hasn't got that, it's a Nissan and just asked me to put the fob closer to the button. DH just took it out for a spin and got me some petrol and it behaved perfectly so it seems it's something that I must have done! He should be out of intensive care soon! It must have probably just been a hiccup. We shall see next time.
