I'm looking for any of the TV servies that allow downlaods straight to a windows laptop, to be able to watch later without wifi. I'm going to be travelling without any wifi. I don't want to stream by connecting my phone to laptop, or anything like that.
Happy to pay for a month of netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, ... any service that lets me download to my laptop (not a Chromebook)
Are there any? Thanks

Pretty sure most of them do but they tend to be to phones and tablets:Netflix is documented here:Prime will download to Windows:Apple says it will download to "PC", but ironically not on Mac!:

Either way, I can confirm you can dowload from AppleTV+ to a Mac. You can also download to Vison Pro but it's osa different process hence not included in the above.
Most the paid for apps allow you to download. The non-direct subscription services like iPlayer have mainly stopped you downloading to computers even if you can for mobile devices.0 -
When I go on holidays abroad I download films and programmes from BBC iPlayer and Netflix, which do not need Wi-Fi onto my tablet. I would have thought a laptop would be the same.0
