try contacting O2 on social media - most companies respond pretty quickly as it's not a good advert for them
definitely don't pay - it's not your debt - paying it could easily give the impression it is0 -
Moorcroft will have zero interest in your dispute, they will simply return the account to 02 and wash their hands of it.
Don`t ever pay a debt that isn`t yours, paying it will not remove the default, and pleading with 02 to remove it will do no good either, it will stay on your file regardless unless you make a formal complaint and they decide to uphold it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
