    try contacting O2 on social media - most companies respond pretty quickly as it's not a good advert for them
    definitely don't pay - it's not your debt - paying it could easily give the impression it is

    Moorcroft will have zero interest in your dispute, they will simply return the account to 02 and wash their hands of it.

    Don`t ever pay a debt that isn`t yours, paying it will not remove the default, and pleading with 02 to remove it will do no good either, it will stay on your file regardless unless you make a formal complaint and they decide to uphold it.
