PCN but the machine said I did not need to pay

Hi,
I have a company car and parked in Asda Farnborough Car Park for an hour. I put my reg into the machine when leaving and it said I did not need to pay. It gave me a receipt however I have discarded that and didn't take a photo which was a bit stupid.
The date of the PCN was 11th December and the Parking charge issue date was Christmas Eve. As it's a company car, I did not receive the notice until 9th January (out of the window of the reduced fee too).
I'm unsure on the correct way to appeal this. I've had a look around this forum and don't know how to carry out Plan A as I don't know how to find the manager or CEOs emails (as suggested in another Asda Farnborough post), plus I haven't got too long now.
I was thinking of appealing and asking for evidence of the machines data that day but would like some guidance from somebody if possible please as I genuinely should not be paying this fee and am confused as to why I've received it.
Thanks and kind regards

Just use the company/lease car appeal already written by Edna_Basher in the NEWBIES thread. Is it ParkingEye?SaveMyPension said:Hi,

Why did you receive this? Because the industry is rife with scamsters. I lgot one the other week even though the app stated "no payment is required" when I tried to pay on exit.

Have you received a PCN in YOUR name or just a copy of the one sent to your company? Is it a lease/hire car or directly owned by your employer?1

Been putting this off and now today is the last day.. It's Horizon Parking and is in my name.
I have been confused as to what to do as I genuinely should not be paying this fine, however I'll appeal using Edna_Basher's template as it seems this is the safest thing to do.
Thank you for your help and if you happen to be online and have any advice before I send it off, please fire away, will be submitting in an hour.1
