Obviously a scam regarding the claims made.I did find a youtube of a chap who had got one out of interest, and he had run various tests that proved that the claims made in the adverts were false...(no great surprise really...).

Although it would be <chef's kiss> to see an advert for one of those heaters at the start/middle/end of a video that debunks them.

Brave browser. Everything comes as standard, it's built to dodge ads. It's also based on the same underlying code as Chrome. Never seen a youtube video and didn't have to install extensions etc to achieve this.0

Thanks. I normally use an Android tablet and don't mind having a different browser for Youtube. All my other ad blocking is at the network level via Next DNS, but that doesn't distinguish between Youtube playing a video or playingan advert.0

Thank you all for all your very helpful comments/advice.
I will not be buying an extra heater, & will continue to use my wool blanket, sheepskin slippers & the occasional cat on lap to keep warm.
Cheers3 -

Kept my feet warm, not so keen on the soggy patch. Current furball will occasionally curl up beside me under the duvet for an hour or so (no dribbles). Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
