Natwest CC Application - Radio Silence?

I submitted an application for a Natwest CC on Sunday, got sent a pre-contract agreement and submitted the Liveness check/documents for Mitek ID verification.
I received an email on Sunday saying that I’d hear from Mitek if they needed anything else, and if not, I’d hear from Natwest instead confirming that my card was on it’s way.
It’s now Wednesday and I haven’t heard anything. I requested a balanced transfer upon application as my 0% promotional offer on my current CC ends on 28th January, and I’m becoming increasingly worried that it won’t go through in time and I’ll be hit with £30 of backdated interest. I could pay off my balance now (which fortunately, I easily can) but if the transfer DOES go through in time, I’ll be in £200 of credit!
Lastly, I tried to login to the Natwest mobile app but I can’t proceed without a customer number. I was asked to set up an online banking password and pin when I applied but I don’t remember seeing a customer number. Is there any way around this or do I need to wait for my card to arrive and reactivate online banking?
Has anyone else had similar trouble/delays when applying for a Natwest CC?

NatWest have gone weird. I applied in the summer for a Travel Credit Card. Got a massive limit of £900.
Got a RBS current account, £1k overdraft was reduced to £250. NatWest current account overdraft being reduced from £2k to £250.
I think they're having problems as reducing their exposure to risk. Are they being sold by the government back to the private sector or something?I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
Strange! I was offered a £7k credit limit, but perhaps they’re having cold feet.surreysaver said:NatWest have gone weird. I applied in the summer for a Travel Credit Card. Got a massive limit of £900.

I just want to know whether three days with no communication since ID checks is normal, or whether I should get in touch and check the status of my application?0 -

I bank with nat west and the exact same happened to me, i submitted the ID verification and got no communication then on the 3rd or 4th day the card account appeared on the app.
I would hazard a guess that you will be accepted if they have sent pre contract and asked for your ID
have you checked email spam folder just in case they have replied?0 -
All good, I got an email this morning say my card is on it's way and it included my customer number! The email said I can't log onto Online Banking until I've received my card, but can I log into the app before it arrives?martinbainbridge1975 said:I bank with nat west and the exact same happened to me, i submitted the ID verification and got no communication then on the 3rd or 4th day the card account appeared on the app.

I completed an application for a NatWest balance transfer credit card on 28 October (Tuesday) and did the Mitek thing within the hour. NW said if approved I'd hear within two days. Radio silence until today (Tuesday 4 November) when I got an email saying there's a message in my online account for my credit card ending in XXXX. Sadly I don't have a NatWest account to log in to so I assume a card will arrive in the next few days and I can view the message. It seems to be taking a week to do the two-day verification in case anyone else has the same query.0

Yes same thing I have never banked with NatWest but my credit score is 700+ I have about 16% credit utilisation and applied last Friday on the 31st. Did all the verification checks etc and was pre approved for £8k. It's been a week and I haven't heard a single thing. I do find it very odd the way they go about it. I have never had to give P60'S and id etc for a credit card (I can't recall). Ohh well I don't particularly need the card of they knock me back, was getting it to help build my score up.0
