No Win No Fee Medical Report Question?

I'm currently in the process of a no win no fee litigation, and the insurance has just been granted. A Medical Report is the next step I'm told, and the solicitor has sent me a list of CV's of those qualified to do it. And basically asked me to have a look and choose one.
I'm a bit flummoxed by this to be honest, as I'm in no way qualified to judge a medical CV's merits. Is this normal? I would have thought a practice would have someone they'd regularly go to. I have asked the solicitor this, but they haven't got back to me yet.
Thanks.

Sounds odd to me. Ive has a personal injury claim after a car crash. The solicitor chose the medical examiner later a physio. I had no choice and they were miles from where i liveRichie7 said:I'm currently in the process of a no win no fee litigation, and the insurance has just been granted. Some people are happy with anyone who claims to have a medical degree others have strong views that anyone first qualified overseas isnt going to be as good, that they must have 20 years experience, be male etc etc. Would expect that any of them are ok and if you have no preference then just ask for the one closest to you or earliest available or whatever your priorities areRichie7 said:I'm currently in the process of a no win no fee litigation, and the insurance has just been granted.
