I start driving lessons on the 25th and will eventually be buying a car, so this site will be needed

If you're buying a car for the first time, 2 sites I would recommend are www.parkers.co.uk and www.honestjohn.co.uk . They are both car review/info sites, and will give a reasonable steer on what's good and bad out there. Will the greatest respect, knowledgeable car enthusiasts don't tend to frequent this forum and I've seen pretty inaccurate advice on mechanical/car info matters, but good advice on consumer rights, etc.moneysavepound12 said:Hello,

Also the best kind of recommendation for where to buy from, is probably word-of-mouth.1 -

If you get an Audi, remember it has indicators 😉1

If you an Audi A1, remember its a close relative of the VW Polo, Seat Ibiza and Skoda Fabia too. The prices of Audis and VWs are relatively high (as in, you'll not get that young or low mileage car, for the equivalent money) but the Seat and Skoda aren't that bad.0

If you ever have one of those days where you feel that your job is meaningless, just remember that somewhere there's a man in a factory fitting indicators to BMWs and Audis.northwalesd said:If you get an Audi, remember it has indicators 😉
