Unless you are past the cooling off period by now?

No the window of opportunity is still open for another week,
for me to cancel and re-invest with another bank.
It would seem I am chasing them, when it's me with the money.
I think the Skipton should make more of an effert when they want my money.....

Have you already used your ISA allowance?  If not, that might make more sense.  Any reason why you're fixing for less than you could get for easy access?

I don't know about you but the interest rates on my easy access accounts are going down.  In a year or two (or five) 4% may look good.

If I was looking for a 2 year fix I would probably be happy with Hodge at 4.67%. I've had no problems with Hodge in the past. This seems to be the best non app rate at the moment.

Just noticed Smartsave have a 5 year fix at 4.78% which looks a good rate for anyone wanting a longer fix. Pity all the interest is paid at maturity though.

Yes it does look good Hodge at 4.67%. I have been checking out Hodge on this forum, just been ultra cautious before investing my money. I always try to find negative views as well as positive ones..
