Ah yes, I see that both cases on this forum have just seen the PCNs dropped.idney62 said:
There was alot pf local backlash from this sudden change and I know of some people who have stopped using the waitrose due to reports of drivers still getting tickets even though they visited the Waitrose car park. ~It got the attention of local MP and councillors.BobWaffle said:For some reason, Britannia have backed down, before I've even submitted POPLA.
I got an email:
"We are writing regarding the above parking charge. Please be aware the charge has now been cancelled, no further action or payment in required.Kind RegardsBritannia Parking"
I suspect that they have decided not to pursue those that decided to appeal.
The road markings have been updated and now it is very clear that drivers cannot stop.
Sounds like the local 'noise' got too much for Britannia at Waitrose Bromley. Wonder if they are refunding those that other people paid?
But good that the road markings have been swiftly improved. This is all positive.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
