DCB Legal - Court Questionnaire N180 Query

Firstly, I want to say that this forum has been an absolute Godsend—thank you to everyone who contributes here.

I received a "parking ticket" from UKPC after briefly parking at an industrial estate. I was loading for under two minutes on double yellow lines because there was nowhere else to park. Unfortunately, I missed the signage and didn’t notice any vertical "no loading" markers on the double yellows.

After my initial dispute with UKPC was rejected, I decided to ignore the subsequent letters from DCB Legal. Later, I filed my defense using the template provided here (many thanks for that!). I submitted it in early December.

I’ve now reached the N180 stage, and I have a couple of questions:

  1. Section D: Should I indicate that the case is suitable for determination without a hearing? (Worth noting that this section isn’t included on the N180 form DCB Legal sent me.)
  2. Can the N180 form be emailed, or does it need to be sent via post?

Thanks in advance for your guidance!

Have you checked the 12 steps outlined in the Template Defence Announcement, first post. All the processes are outlined there.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

How to answer all DQ questions is in the NEWBIES thread section about the N180.

Do not limit yourself to only reading the old link to the (useful but ancient) bargepole thread. Obviously you don't agree to the case being decided on the papers!  This is fully covered already.
