ParkingEye PCN passed to DCBL for a vehicle I hired years ago

We overstayed at a services by just over an hour, in summer of 2021. It was a camper van I hired for the week. I also think I named another driver on the hire agreement, and we can't recall who was driving as it was years ago.
I ignored the first letter (should have checked here first!) and then moved house. They passed it to DCBL who traced my new address and sent the chasing letter there a few months later (Feb 2022). I sent a letter saying I do not recognise the registration. I received nothing and sent another letter to tell them I hadn't received any evidence/proof and to not contact me again.
A few weeks ago they started chasing again. I sent a letter outlining my first letters and that I don't recognise the vehicle. They have replied saying I can check by visiting their website with the registration etc. In the photos you can't see who is behind the wheel.
I have read the NEWBIES post and I have seen template letters for leases or hirers but the ones I've seen are for sending within the PCN 'appeal' timeframe, however this is years old.
What would my next step be?
Thanks in advance.

Post 4 , ignore the powerless debt collectors
But
DO ensure that you email the DPO at the parking company with the correct address for the service of papers, you dont want any future court claim going to an old address3 -
When you send the rectification notice to the DPO of the PPC and DCBL, instruct them to erase your data and replace it with your current address for service. Make sure to use the word I have highlighted as it has a specific meaning where data processing is concerned.
Do also complain to the landowner where the alleged event occurred, and your MP. Complaints should be from the vehicle hirer.
Please also sign the petition linked from the post below, and ask all your friends and family to do the same.

DCB Limited, or DCB Legal Limited? The former can safely be ignored. Do not ignore a letter of/before claim or a court claim.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -
You won't be paying this and you actually, positively want the court claim because that's when you get the easy win without a hearing.
As above the only important communication is to tell both DPOs to erase the old address (copy the appropriate paragraph from the suggested LBC response in the second post of the NEWBIES FAQS thread.
This will be a cinch to defend in due course with no CCJ at risk as long as they do not use and address for the claim form.
Our advice assumes that neither you nor the services are in Scotland.
And we assume you've exhausted the simple answer - PLAN A from the Newbies thread - emailing a complaint to the Services? Some Welcome Break managers cancel PCNs easily, at ANY time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have emailed dpo@parkingeye.co.uk asking to erase and replace and got confirmation they have updated their records.1 -
Have you also told DCB Ltd?

If/when DCB Legal get involved, let us know. Meantime, have a read of the following DCB Legal Discontinuation thread of shame. You could well find yourself included there eventually. Good defence, discontinuation almost always follows. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Great result. You'll now know where to start for a pcn cancellation should you receive any in the future.2

This approach is ALWAYS Plan A.
Please post about this success and a link to this thread, stating which PPC you beat and who to contact at which Services, in Successful Complaints About PPCs.
That thread helps to encourage others. You'll be doing more victims a real service, to pardon the pun!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
