My wife has received a £100 fine for not being completely within the lines at a retail park in Exeter from UK Parking Control. Based on what I'd read in some of these forums, we decided to ignore it. We've now received the threatagram for £170 or they will pass it on to a debt collector. I must admit, the letters do make me nervous.
From what I read, we should now wait for a letter of claim?
Any support would be extremely welcomed.0 -
Correct, ignore the powerless debt collectors letters and wait for the Letter of Claim1

Please start a new thread and show that letter. Unsurprisingly I lost the poopla appeal. Thought I had a decent case but it’s clear that it is no more than a kangaroo court!
