I currently receive lower daily living part of pip which is an ongoing award since 2021.
my condition has worsened and I would like to achieve the mobility part now having been awarded zero points in 2021.
If I apply and fail will this impact on my Daily living award ?

If you report a change in circumstances then you should be sent a form to complete and the whole award will be looked at again. You need to consider whether you would score sufficient points to be awarded the mobility component. You should look at the PIP descriptors to try to identify how many points you are likely to score.2

There's always some risk to your current award when reporting changes. Once the decision is made your award could either stay the same, be increased or even stopped completely.0

When is your review due, if its close then it might be worth waiting for the review rather than risking it with declaring your condition has worstened now.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

Yes, this was my thinking too. The OP may get an increase in PIP but the award might just be for a shorter period.
