Parking fine going to court

That's not bad for a home-made defence. Shame you didn't come here first and just use our template - but it'll do the job.
Obviously they'll discontinue like they always do. You certainly DO NOT offer any money.
I'm guessing you haven't read many DCB Legal threads yet and didn't know that's how it ends?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And you may not be aware MPs and campaigners are calling for statutory regulation for the private parking industry as the present voluntary measures are failing to protect us.https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/81193608/#Comment_81193608
Please join the call sign this petition demanding the re-launch of a Govt-backed Parking Code of Practice. 🙏2 -
So are you saying to take it all the way to court and defend?1
-
Yes that's right.1

Ive read some of the threads around DCBL and ive replied to the "without prejudice" email to decline the reduced offer and advised them im happy to go to court to defend. Ill keep you posted on the outcome.
Thank you so much for all your advice!1 -
Just stop overthinking this. As long as a claim issued by DCB Legal is defended, any defence, even if it is just a nursery rhyme, will be discontinued in due course. I tis only when defendants try to over think it and do something stupid that is not advised, they end up SNAFU and FUBARing it.
The claim has been defended. just follow the rest of the advice in the Template Defence thread for dealing with the DQ and transfer to your local court phase. The Claimant will not pay the trial fee and they will discontinue.3 -
Can you provide a link to that please as there are so many threads that i cant keep up with them all. Thank youLDast said:Just stop overthinking this. As of today none of the parasite companies who gave you 10 minutes to pay but then issued you with a PCN for not managing that, but still keep the money you paid 10+ minutes later, can't do this any longer. Both ATA's have had to concede that this penalty dressed up as a Term and Condition is unfair. If it is unfair today, it was unfair 2 years ago. Added to that the Phone and Pay App run by Bemrose Mobile deliberately makes paying take as long as possible. You won't be surprised to learn that one of Bemrose Mobile's resigned directors is non other than Simon Abraham who just happens to own the Civil Enforcement Ltd & Creative parking empire. Beginning to make sense now?1

Hi all. This is currently going through mediation at the moment. I just want to know if I need to stick to my guns and carry this on and not agree to anything and tell them I want to take it to court. Thanks0
