A tenant can leave (England) whenever they like, providing notice (may not be valid) or not. Can leave on 1st day of tenancy if they like.
But usually (depending on tenancy wording - there is no "standard" AST..) remains responsible for bills, rent. But as we can't see tenancy wording we won't know for sure.0 -
