“Life Coach”’not responding to request for a refund

Last week, I approached a “life coach “ for help with difficult circumstances (advanced cancer) I paid £20 for an initial phone discussion, with great doubts about paying for a full course (£4000 for 12 weeks) but when he offered a discount down to £1,500, feeling a bit desperate, I fell for it and transferred the £1,500. Within minutes I realised I’d been an idiot, but the website stated the standard 14-day cooling off period. I immediately let him know I’d changed my mind and he asked for my account details to make the refund. But a week later there’s no refund and he’s now not replying to emails. Any suggestions how

What details do you have of this person? A physical address to send a letter before action to?
Did you contract with them personally or are they operating via a limited company?0 -
His registered address is in London but I believe he operates remotely from the Canary Islands, and I think he works as an individual but I’m not sure.

If he's an individual then there's no such thing as a "registered address". If you want to sue somebody who lives in the Canaries then you may need to check up on Spanish law...0

I think you've been scammed. I'd contact your bank asap.1

Just checked - he is a limited company registered in London0

So you can sue that then. But you may wish to consider whether it actually has any assets in the UK.2
